Day 1: Arrival Hanoi (D)
On arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai International airport, you will be greeted by our
driver and transferred to your hotel in town. Welcome dinner at a super
restaurant in French Quarter of Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City tour (B, L, D)
The colonial capital city Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined
boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental pagodas
and temples.
This full day tour takes you around Hanoi's most interesting sights, including
the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his Stilts House,
Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda nearby, and the Old Quarter also
known as the 36 streets and guilds.
Also on the tour - the Lake of the Restored Sword and Ngoc Son Temple, the
Temple of Literature, peaceful West Lake with lovers street Thanh Nien, the
sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple and one of the city's museums,
either the History Museum or the Ethnology Museum. In the evening enjoy a
traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. Overnight at hotel in Ha Noi
Day 3: Ha Noi - Ha Long Bay (B, L)
Me et you at hotel at 8:00, we drive to Halong City, approximately 3 hours
away. Once at Halong City you will board our private boat for a four-hour
cruise of this stunning area, stopping along the way to visit one of the
limestone caves in the area. After 4 hour navigation we sail back to harbor and
drive back to your hotel in Hanoi. Lunch on guest account. Overnight at hotel
in Ha Noi
Day 4: Ha Noi - Da Nang - Hoi An (B, L) domestic flight
Transfer to airport and fly on to Danang. Upon arrival at Danang you will be
greeted by our guide who will begin by escorting you on a tour of Danang City,
including the Cham Museum where you can find out more about this ancient but
advanced civilization. After leaving Danang we will make our way the short
distance to the Marble Mountains, where there will be the opportunity to climb
to the top and admire the temples that have a commanding view over the
surrounding district. We will continue to the delightful town of Hoi An,
approximately 30km away. Once in Hoi An we will check into our hotel and have
some free time to explore. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An
Day 5: Hoi An - Hue (B, L, D)
We bid Hoi An farewell this morning and continue our north bound journey. The
destination for today is the old imperial city of Hue about four hours away.
Along the way we will travel over the Hai Van pass , stopping at the top to
take in the stunning views north over Lang Co beach before arriving in Hue.
This afternoon we embark on a tour of the city. A visit to Hue would not be
complete without taking in attractions such as the Citadel and the Forbidden
Purple City , the Imperial Museum and the Dong Ba market . You should taste the
finest cuisine of Hue on Dragon Boat and enjoy Hue Folk Song. Overnight at
hotel in Hue
Day 6: Ancient Capital Hue City Tour (B, L)
Rising up in the ancient land, breakfast in hotel, we board on a private boat
for cruising the romantic Perfume River. This time we head out for the
countryside. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of
emperors past, and a visit to some of these tombs will be on the itinerary for
today.
The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop of the day.
Setting in the converge of rivers, and gives you a great view on the Perfume
River and surrounding area. Thien Mu Pagoda which is considered the unofficial
symbol of Hue, and the greatest Buddhism Centre in Centre Vietnam.
We process to the eccentric Tu Duc's tomb. From here we will cruise further to
the ornate Minh Mang's tomb . We will enjoy lunch on boat before getting out
the Dragon Boat. We drive to the very strange Khai Dinh's Tomb before making
our way back to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Hue
Day 7: Hue - Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) - (B, L)
Transfer to airport for a short flight to Saigon. You are greeted and
transferred to your hotel in town. This city tour unravels Saigon's turbulent
past and also provides a glimpse into the fascinating variety the city has to
offer. This city tour includes The Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral
and Old Post Office, Remnant War Museum, Giac Lam Pagoda, China town with
ancient pagodas and temples, and bustling Binh Tay Market. Dinner on Guest
Account. Overnight at hotel in Sai Gon
Day 8: Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) - Cu Chi tunnels - Cao Dai temples (B, L)
At 8:00 pick up at hotel, this morning we drive to Cao Dai Temples in Tay Ninh
to observe the midday service. Following lunch we will drive to the Cu Chi
Tunnels and then return to Saigon at around 18:00. Dinner on Guest Account.
Overnight at hotel in Sai Gon
Day 9: Mekong Delta - (B, L, D)
Leave Saigon to lush My Tho where we boat on a private boat to through the
green vegetation of the canals to an orchard, where we are treated to a
delicious lunch in bonsai garden in the heart of Mekong, complete with tropical
fruits. We also visit the snake farm Dong Tam that breeds snakes for, among
other things, snake wine and enjoy a bonsai garden in Trung Luong before
heading back to Saigon. Dinner on Floating Restaurant. Overnight at hotel in
Sai Gon
Day 10: Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) Departure (B)
No activities are planned for today. You will be transferred to airport for you
onward flight.
