is crisscrossed bythousands of streams and rivers. There is a river discharging
every 20kilometers along Vietnam's coastline. The waterways are a
veryconvenient means of transport with major rivers like the Red River inthe
north and the Mekong River in the south.
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City -
Arrival (D)
You are welcome by our guide at Tan Son Nhat airport and then betransferred to
your hotel in the center of city. Time to visit BenThanh market. Having a
welcome dinner at a French colony stylerestaurant andovernight in Ho Chi Minh
City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi (B, L)
In the morning, we will go to Hoc Mon district to visit Cu Chi tunnel.Back to
Ho Chi Minh city for lunch. In the afternoon, visit War Museum,Reunification
Palace and Notre Dame Cathedral. Overnight in Ho Chi Minhcity.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta (B, L)
Heading out of the bustling city, we ride along rice field to My Tho,one of
Mekong Delta province. Upon arrival in My Tho, we embark on aboat navigating
around the small canals in the delta region, whichpassing My Tho fruit market.
Joining in with daily activities of localpeople and enjoy the atmosphere of
water world along the canal andalong the Tien river. The exciting cruise
continue to Unicorn island,here you can taste many seasonal fruits and enjoy
the local traditionalmusic, performed by the islanders. Having lunch at a
typical countrygarden house. Next stops are the coconut candy “mill” and some
otherlocal industries in Ben Tre province. Drive back Ho Chi Minh forovernight.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang (B)
Afterbreakfast, take a short flight to Nha Trang, a city right on the
beach.Check-in hotel and rush to beach for relax or swimming and many
moreactivities. Over night in Nha Ttrang.
Day 5: Nha Trang (B, L)
You will have one day boat trip. Firstly we will go to Mun island, thebest site
for snorkeling where you will see lots of live colorfulcorals and fish. This
site has been officially protected under thesupport of Danish Government.
Relax, sunbath and swimming at Tamisland. Then visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium on
Mieu Island. At this place,you will see the life of the many sea species of
Nhatrang ocean thatbeing made in a smaller world of this aquarium. Return to
NhaTrang about 16:00. Overnight in Nha trang.
Day 6: Nha Trang (B, L)
Enjoy morning on the beach again. After lunch, biking from yourhotel to Long
Son Pagoda, built in commemoration of the monks and nunswho died whilst
fighting the Diemgovernment and Cham Po Nagar temples. Just next to Cham Po
Nagartemples is theThap Ba Hot Spring center. Having fun with Mud bathing
andMineral springs swimming. Overnight in NhaTrang.
Day 7: Nha Trang - Hoi An (B, L)
Youwill take a morning flight to Da Nang Airport, then transfer to Hoi anabout 35km
away. In the afternoon walking visit HoiAn ancient town, the town with mixed
the culture ofVietnam/Chinese/Japanese with Chinese tiled houses, Chinese
temples,Japanese covered bridge. Over night in Hoi An.
Day 8: Hoi An - My Son - Da Nang - Hue (B, L)
Driver to My son, a World Cultural Heritage. My Son Sanctuary is anancient
religious center of Cham people. Dominated South East Asia fornearly a thousand
years, the Kingdom of Cham now still impressive withbrick towers in a valley,
40km south of Hoi An.After lunch, explore Cham culture at Cham Museum in Da
Nang. Then wecontinue drive to Hue, through Hai Van pass. Taking many photo on
theway and at Lang co beach as you like. Arrival Hue afternoon andovernight in
Hue.
Day 9: Hue (B, L)
Cyclo tour to visit Imperial Citadel, another World Cultural Heritage site.
Then we will visit Thien Mupagoda, King Tu Duc tomb, King Minh Mang tomb,
EnjoyRoyal music - World Intangible Heritage, while cruising on the Perfume
river,and admire sunset on boat. Overnight in Hue.
Day 10: Hue - Hanoi (B)
Leaving the Imperial city, you will visit our current, but alsothousand years
Capital. You will have a half day Hanoi city tour tovisit the most attractions
of Hanoi: Hoan KiemLake (the lake of the Restored Sword), Old quarter streets,
Tran QuocPagoda and Quan Thanh Temple. The day end with a traditional
culturalshow of Vietnam, Water Puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 11: Hanoi - Halong (B, L, D)
This day,you will visit Halong, a World Heritage Area of outstanding
naturalbeauty on the Ocean. Upon arrival at Halong city, you will embark inthe
sailing boat cruising round the around islets, caves and grottos onHalong bay.
While cruising, enjoy your lunch on board. In theafternoon, take a short
excursion visit Sung Sot ('The Cave ofSurprise') grotto and short swim (if
weather permitted). Overnight onboard.
Day 12: Ha Long bay - Hanoi - Sapa (B, L)
In the morning, cruising more in the Halong Bay before return to theHalong
pier. Having lunch in Halong before return back Hanoi. Driveback to Hanoi &
take the overnight train to Sapa.
Day13: Lao Cai - Sapa (B, D)
Arrive at Lao Cai Train station at about 6:30. Take a transfer to Sapa.
Havingbreakfast and relax before explore Sapa Town. In the afternoon, take a
2km short trekking to CatCat Village, the home of H’mong Ethic. Meeting &
talking with locals to learn more about their daily life.
Day 14: Sapa - Lao Cai (B, L, D)
Pleasant drive to Tafin village (12km from Sapa) of Red Dzaoethic. Touring to
the village to visit Tafin handicraft shop and explore thedaily life of Red
Dzao. Here you have a good choices to buy woven and textilebrocades, which is
made by ethic people. Visit Tafin Cave and small hamlet ofBlack H'mong people.
Return to Sapa and take a transfer to Lao Cai station for night train to Hanoi.
Day 15: Hanoi (B, L)
One more day visitHanoi with Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature),
the firstuniversity in Vietnam, Art Museum, Ethnology Museum. Free time
forshopping afterward. Over night in Hanoi.
Day 16: Hanoi City - Departure (B)
Free time for shopping or optional visit before transfer to Noi Bai airport for
departure.
